"Tank" 14 yr old grade QH/Standardbred gelding. Really a been there, done that kind of horse. Tank has miles and miles and miles of trail riding experience and we haven't seen a thing he has ever been scared of. He is extremely well broke but has a big motor, would probably intimidate a beginner but is a ton of fun for a rider with some experience. Loves to ride, will go all day, completely control-able. We have done some light patterning on the barrels and poles with him as well and he really seems willing and interested. This is one stout, sturdy horse. 15 hh about 1100 lbs.    ==SOLD!==

Simon, the really cool mule! Wonderful trail mule, super smooth riding, motors up and down hills like they're not there, surefooted and very sensible all the way around. Gets along great with our dogs and our 11 year old, 60 lb niece has ridden him along with an older niece that rides occasionally - even experienced riders like Simon, he moves along really well without worrying his rider. He loves his job and goes everywhere with his ears up. He is friendly, likes people and attention, loads and trailers well. He is approximately 14 years old and is 14 hh, feet and legs in great condition. Current coggins and was just wormed, ready for your trail riding pleasure! Nice mule!   ==SOLD, thank you Raymond from Kansas! ==

"Nick" 7 yr old grade Paint gelding 14.3 hh. Nick is a super fun horse to ride! He's very athletic, has a wonderful soft face, easy, smooth movement and likes to please. He's been a trail horse most of his life and is a good one, neck reins, goes through water, woods, rides with the dogs- nice little horse! We are currently working him in the arena and are very excited about his progress there- his patterning on barrels and poles is going great and he loves to jump, going over small jumps with easy currenlty. This horse loves this work and is picking it up very quickly! Loves to jump, loves to run when asked, does everything with a willing attitude and learns quickly. Nick has a lot of potential as a 4H or Open Show type horse, would be a great prospect for contest, jumping or english pleasure or just enjoy him on the trails! Please contact us for more information on this very nice young horse.      ==SOLD, thank you to the Wood family==

"Resa" 12 yr old grade Paint mare 15 hh. Smooth riding, laid back, beautiful mare with wonderful manners and knows what a job is! Resa came to us from a local Amish family that has owned her all her life. She was used by them for driving and trail riding and was regrettfully sold due to the girl that owned her getting married and moving away. We have had Resa all over the farm, down the road, through the woods, in the creek, you point her, she'll go. She is a pretty mover, likes the trails but also has the potential to make a nice 4H/Pleasure type horse. Loads and hauls great, rides off by herself, not "mare-ish" when in heat, good in the pasture with other horses and is easy to catch, comes right to you. Please contact us for more information on this very nice mare!     ==SOLD, thank you to the Wood family==

Precious Isa Bopp   "Effie"   1997 APHA black and white overo mare   15 hh  1100 lbs "Effie" is an eye catching registered Paint mare. She has been used for trail riding occasionally, quiet, gentle, nothing fancy but a nice mare. She is pasture exposed to Kahles War Dream (see his page) for a 2010 foal. Nice mare priced to sell, not going to keep her for the winter.    ==SOLD, thank you K. Wilhelm! ==

Blazins Morning Star   "Daisy"   2000 APHA brown and white tobiano mare   14.3 hh  1100 lbs     Super nice doesn't even begin to describe Daisy. She is a well broke, hard working, lots of "try" mare that is extremely smooth to ride. Gaited horses have nothing on her, she's a very smooth ride and covers ground effortlessly.  Her sire is Lacy King Midas, owned locally by a good friend of ours- this stallion has a very good reputation for producing good minded horses that are fun to ride. Dasiy was ridden all summer by some local boys, has been to Mohican on a day long trail ride and has performed flawlessly for us, haven't found a thing she is afraid of on trails or along the road. We really like this little mare with the big heart and wish we could keep them all but she is for sale and is a great opportunity to own a sweet trail horse for someone!   ==SOLD, thank you Hoffer family from Indiana! ==

"Rosa" 10 year old 15.1 hh 1100 lb grade grey Quarter Horse mare. Pretty dapple grey mare with a loving personality, Rosa is well broke to ride, has been quiet and good for us on trails and is just nice to be around. Loads, hauls and trailers well, another good one for fall trail riding season, possible arena/show prospect but has not been shown- was a one owner trail horse her whole life. Would recommend her for at least an intermediate rider as she is well broke and quick to respond to signals and cues- we have generally found that most beginners do better with a slower to respond horse but will gladly answer any questions on this nice mare. ==SOLD!==

"Skooter" 15 yr old grade sorrel and white paint gelding. 14.3-15 hh, 1100 lbs. Well broke to ride, has been on lots of trail rides, likes to trail ride and is very friendly, likes people and attention. Comes to you in the pasture, pretty horse with a great personality. Was owned for the last 10 years by a local older gentleman that trail rode him with his daughter and her horse. Dave is a pretty good sized guy and has ridden him on some pretty steep hills here on the farm- Skooter hauls him right up. Good condition, stout, loads and trailers well, ready for fall trail season. ==SOLD! Thank you to the Kaufmans.==

"Stella"     Grade Black Tennessee Walking Horse Mare 11 years old 15.1 hh  1050 lbs. What a sweetheart of a mare and a real pleasure to ride and be around. We have had Stella all over the farm and on trail rides. She will go anywhere she is pointed and loves water! Gentle, loving and friendly, loads and trailers great, very nice ground manners. Stella came to us from a local man that has lost his job and could no longer keep her. We have enjoyed her from the very first ride here at our farm. Last trail ride we were on she came within 3 feet of stepping on a wild turkey that flew up nearly under her hooves- she jumped a little but never took a step. Also saw about 3 deer the same way (jumping out of nowhere!) and some wonderful gentlemen that were shooting what appeared to be an elephant gun or possibly a cannon! Stella took it all in stride- great trail horse with a comfortable, gaited ride. Very good around other horses both at pasture and on a trail ride. We have used her to go along with some of our younger horses as a steadying influence. Wish we could keep her but she is for sale and priced to go- don't miss her, somebody is really going to love her!  ==SOLD!==

"Sugar" 13 yr old grade paint mare. Sugar is a great, quiet mare. Nice to be
around, came to us from a good friend that our kids have rodeoed with for
years. Belonged to his daughter who graduated high school and is now in
college, no longer riding Sugar- only reason for selling. Sugar has been
used by this girl at rodeos for several years in barrels, poles, down and
back, goat tying, steer daubing and some breakaway roping. She is very
quiet, not super fast but steady. Great on trails, not a hyped up type of
horse, not spooky- very dependable. Easy to ride, gentle and friendly. Loads
and trailers great- good chance to own a nice horse at a great price
==SOLD! Thank you to the Donahue Family==

Betsy W Norfleet    2000 APHA registered mare 15.1 hh. Attention anyone looking for a one of a kind, family keeper!  We are very proud to be able to offer Betsy for your consideration. Formerly owned by an older gentleman that hadn't the time to ride him, we have had Smokey out on the trails and up and down the roads around here, moves right out, haven't found anywhere he won't go. Easy to catch, likes attention, loads and trailers well. Nice horse for the fall trail riding season! ==SOLD!  Thank you to the Tarantos from Ohio!==

Duchess 15 year old grade Appaloosa mare 14.3 hh. Duchess is one sweetheart of a mare. She has a great personality and is a total pleasure to be around. She is friendly, gentle and very well broke (rides bareback, in a halter, in a hackamore, with a bit, with a saddle- any way you want). Neck reins, works off of leg pressure, quiet about everything, good ground manners and pretty to look at. Comes when you call her and loves to be around people. She was owned by a local, older couple for the last 6 years and was regretfully sold due to their health troubles.  A "50-something" year old woman's horse. They rode her and her buddy Spicey (also for sale) into town for ice cream. Would be a great starter horse or one for the whole family to enjoy. ==SOLD!  thank you to the Miller Family ==

Hot N Spicy Te   1996 AQHA registered sorrel mare  14.3 hh  Spicy is another nice riding horse for a family or beginner, locally owned by an older couple and regretfully sold due to health problems. Cody  Approx.10 year old grade Quarter Horse gelding 15 hh. Very, very broke, quiet and good looking, this is a super nice gelding. Used by a sixty-five year old man, parked cars at fairs, has had a rope thrown off him, great on trail rides, very nice in the arena, we cannot say enough good about Cody. He is friendly and personable but not pushy or rude, a well mannered horse. Loads and trailers great, comes to you anywhere, quiet and dependable riding horse. Come check him out, we think you will really like this horse, we sure do! We have ridden him extensively and he has not made one wrong move. Sami rides him up from his pasture to the barn bareback in a halter. Hard to pick only a few pictures of him for the website, he is a good looking palomino horse! ==SOLD!  thank you Brigid==

Moreland Acres Becky "Becky"  1992 registered Percheron mare. Super nice and gentle as a dog, Becky is a stout, sturdy full Percheron mare on the short side at 15.2 hh, making her an excellent choice for riding! Becky was a "one owner" before we got her, owned, trained and worked on the same Amish farm since she was two. Rides, drives and is a good mother. We are currently trail riding her- she is like a rock in the woods- uphill, downhill, crosses creeks, ditches, logs, steady and dependable, moves along nicely and is very comfortable to ride. Her trot floats, very easy to ride. Good one for beginning trail riders (or husbands!) Loads, trailers, ties great- very nice mare, very quiet and pretty, too.     ==SOLD!  thank you to the Turon Family!==

Rides quiet all over the farm and on trail rides, good with dogs and other horses. We have been using her for our 10 year old nephew who has very little riding experience to ride on trail rides. Daisy takes excellent care of him, easily keeps up with the bigger horses, uphill, downhill, crosses logs and water, very quiet, very business-like, very good in the woods and along our road. Loads and hauls great- Sami has even ridden her bareback in just a halter into the trailer- Daisy hops right in. Look for awhile but you might not find another such as Daisy anywhere. One of a kind and very, very sweet natured and intelligent.    ==SOLD!  thank you and best wishes to the Lengauer Family==

Very easy keeper, loads and trailers great, no bad habits and gets along good with other horses. We aquired her from a local Amish family- she is broke to drive and to all farm machinery, rides in the arena, under saddle, bareback and double and is an awesome trail horse- been there, seen that! Crosses water, loads and trailers well. Our 8 yr old niece who weighs 42 lbs soaking wet trail rides this mare with ease, can bring her in from the pasture by herself. Bonnie  Grade Belgian mare  17hh aproximately 11 years old.
This is another very well broke workhorse mare used extensively on a local Amish farm. Broke to all farm machinery, broke to drive, broke to ride, used to traffic, wasn't a horse on the farm that could out pull Bonnie, used in the woods to pull logs. The Amish family used to jump off the thrashing machine directly onto her back and she was also the one that was used by the kids and grandpa! She is a pleasure to trail ride, surefooted, strong and quiet. Stand quietly to be mounted, good ground manners, loads and trailers well.  Beautiful mover and a smooth ride. Bonnie is also very pretty- hard to get a picture that shows her true colors right. She is a deep chesnut with a silver/grey mane and tail. If you are in the market for a big, strong horse, this may be the one for you!     ==SOLD, thank you to Melissa from Kansas!

"Shaggy" Eight year old grade gaited gelding. 15 hh. Super smooth riding, experienced gelding. This nice horse came from the same Amish family as Scooby (hence the Scooby and Shaggy!) The children were all sad to see him go. He was a favorite riding horse for all. Very experienced on trail, road safe to ride and drive, lots and lots of fun to ride. After riding him, we see the attraction of the gaited horse. He is truly a pleasure to ride and to be around. 2003 APHA Black & White Mare    MC Sky Jet Jack         It is with true regret that the wife offers this one for sale! A daughter of War Dream & out of one of our best producing mares, this young mare is doing an excellent job under saddle. She is started right, easy & gentle. Has had had plenty of time in the arena as well- beginning to neck rein, side pass, backs with ease, goes calmly & easily into all gates, walk, trot & canter.
