IVY HILL FARM
 Big Prairie, Ohio

September may bring our first frost, but many of our hardshell gourds are still growing on the vines. Although it is fine to leave the hardshells on the vine until a light frost, our gourds are picked as they ripen, moved to the protected area alongside the main barn, and stacked so that the air can circulate around them. Most of this year's crop will not be ready for craftwork until late winter or early spring, but we still have a good selection of dried gourds from last year.As always, we would be happy to take time to help you choose a birdhouse or answer questions. We welcome your inquiries by mail, phone, or e-mail.
